Archipelago's Creative Nights
Archipelago’s Creative Nights is a quarterly event where people from all walks of life network and let their creative spirits arise. Our Creative Nights consist of an open stage where people are welcome to showcase their music and poetry; there is also a open art space for everyone to doodle and/or paint and create free-flowing art together. Each night has a theme and different artistic activities are always welcome.
Acrhipelago’s Creative Nights are an open space where like-minded individuals can network, watch and make beautiful concepts come alive together hosted quarterly.
Msasani Beach Clean Up
Archipelago’s Social Corporate Responsibility took on a new face in February 2015 with the first of a monthly series of Beach Cleanups in collaboration with Nipe Fagio. The Beach Clean Up has gained huge momentum with the Msasani community, resulting in Sarah Scott’s admittance as a member of local government Environmental committee. The Msasani Clean Up engages the local community for the betterment of the environment for all to enjoy!
Believing in the right to your city, Archipelago is now collaborating with a number of stakeholders including architects, urban artists, and community leaders to ensure that residents of Dar es Salaam maintain the right to their city.
Pecha Kucha is a creative event that brings together dynamic and interesting people from all walks of life to share their stories and passions in a informal but concise presentation format. Originating in Japan, Pecha Kucha has spread to be a global event and Archipelago is honored to be official Pecha Kucha organizers for Tanzania.
Archipelago seeks out people to share their stories at Pecha Kucha and help them in formatting the presentation. We organize the Pecha Kucha event at least four times a year at different venues. The event is a hub of creativity and inspiration urging people on to share their ideas and differences.
